With the successful release of MIUI 12 Updates for almost most devices, Xiaomi has already announced the new MIUI 12.5 Updates for much later and flagship-level Xiaomi smartphones. We have got a lot of additional features to be mentioned about this new update. By skipping all of this here, we are with the list of devices eligible for MIUI 12.5 Updates.

In December 2020, Xiaomi china has officially launched the list of Xiaomi smartphones that are eligible for this MIUI 12.5 download. The company has rolled out the roadmap of MIUI 12.5 Updates officially.

From the MIUI 12.5 Roadmap, many of the devices that got / eligible for MIUI 12 updates are missed. Because of some reasons some models like Redmi 8, 8A, 8A Dual, etc are not added to the list of MIUI 12.5 Download updates.

As we all know, Xiaomi is a Chinese brand. For this, the company always provides the first updates in its own country-based smartphones. We can find the MIUI China Variant on the Chinese market. Because of this, the update rollout is always first on Xiaomi MIUI China.

MIUI 12.5 Update - A New Update for MIUI 12

As we have already mentioned some smartphones that got MIUI 12 Updates had missed the eligibility for this new update. If your Xiaomi smartphones either are Mi, Redmi, or Poco, then you may get this update for more additional features.

Xiaomi limited only the update of MIUI to the flagship and newer smartphones at first. After that other eligible smartphones will get these updates.

In the last year, 2020 Xiaomi has already published the roadmap for the updates. From that Road Map, we have got many devices that are listed on previous MIUI 12 are also there. Further, the first rollout will start from China and Globally.

From the Roadmap of MIUI 12.5 Download and update, we have got the 27 Xiaomi smartphones models that are going to get these updates. Yes, I am happy that 2 years old Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is also eligible for these updates.

To create the proper improvement and get proper feedback, Xiaomi planned to roll out these updates as a BETA form. When we go for the update method, then the Xiaomi users directly get this update from the system update after it is rolling out.

We Miss These Smartphones from the MIUI 12.5 Updates

Although it's an improvement and smaller updates than the previous MIUI 12, Xiaomi has fully thrown out many smartphones that were added to the list of MIUI 12 Roadmap. Finally, phones can get the MIUI 12 updates to download, but that smartphones are missing these powerful and performance booster updates.
